Windhof – March 31, 2011; Luxembourg e-Archiving s.a. forms a strategic alliance with P&T Luxembourg
Founded in 2009, Luxembourg e-Archiving s.a (“Learch”) spearheads the Luxembourgish market of long-term electronic record management in which the preservation of the legal value of these records is of the essence.
In 2010, Learch was accredited with the PSF statute of both secondary IT system and network operator and manager of customer communications.
Learch is committed to completing a ISO/IEC 27001 certification in order to establish a formal and standardized safety management of its information systems. The goal is to obtain this certification by the summer of this year.
The Luxembourgish P&T has declared its interest in Learch’s activities and its potential in an emerging market. Owning a minority interest in Learch, enables the P&T to grow and complement its array of activities with our specialized technology and knowledge.
In addition, P&T is widely recognized on the Luxembourgish market as a reliable business partner, a financial powerhouse and as having a long history and vast experience in the matter of confidentiality and secrecy in communications. These aspects are indispensable in the field of the third-party archiver.
Finally, P&T intends to entrust Learch with its legal electronic archiving needs which will make them the largest customer of our new company.
Keen to fully grasp the window of opportunity in this market, P&T and Learch decided to cooperate in order to advance both companies.
